URBANREC

Eurospuma S.A. is a family-owned company from Portugal. Since 1965, Eurospuma S.A. produces high quality polyurethane foams and since 1979 high bulk nonwovens, supplying raw materials for various industrial sectors such as bedding, furniture, home textile, upholstery, apparel, automotive, footwear, medical, filtration, childcare, etc.

Over the years, Eurospuma S.A. has invested in continuous improvement, increased its production capacity and extended its research methods developing the industry to provid high quality products.

In the frame of the URBANREC project Eurospuma S.A. is involved in testing and improving recycled polyols in foam applications by working closely with Fraunhofer. This will help to upscale production, which is URBANREC polyol´s end-goal for the industrial production of foams.
