PROCOTEX Corporation SA is a family owned SME enterprise exisiting since 1965. Historically PROCOTEX started first the preparation of flax fiber still well known for its quality worldwide. Over the years the company has diversified and extended operations also to preparation and recycling of synthetic and technical fibres.



 


PROCOTEX Corporation SA is a family-owned SME enterprise exisiting since 1965. Historically PROCOTEX started first the preparation (hackling, carding, combing and cottonising) of Flax fiber, and is still nowadays well know for its quality worldwide. 


Through the years, the activity of PROCOTEX has been diversified and extended also to the preparation of recycled synthetic fibers. Recently (February 2018) the acquisition of the company Herzog (Switzerland), specialized in recycling aramid fibers, has been integrated succesfully  in the actual structure of PROCOTEX. 


Nowadays, PROCOTEX Corporation SA is a company with 4 different divisions: PROCOTEX (Belgium), Apply Carbon (France), Linolitas (Lithuania) & Belturec (Turkey).


Each company is dedicated to a specific activity:


PROCOTEX:  Synthetic, Natural and Technical long and short fiber recycling  


Linolitas:   Flax fiber preparation


Belturec:   Synthetic Fiber recycling and preparation


Apply Carbon: Technical fiber recycling and preparation


Thanks to its experience and know-how and also the specific qualified staff and R&D, PROCOTEX Corporation SA is a highly reactive and innovative company.


In the framework of the URBANREC project, PROCOTEX is responsible for defining the specifications of the textile stream coming from urban bulky waste, for processing it on their own state of the art machines in order to make innovative products and for prospecting the market and finding realistic potential applications.
