Delax (Colchones Elastic Confort) is a bed industry holding focused on researching, manufacturing and delivering innovative mattresses and other sleep products and services to retailers internationally. Within the URBANREC project Delax is a key partner for the development and commercialization of innovative ecofoam materials from end-of-use mattresses.

Delax (Colchones Elastic Confort) is a Bed Industry Holding located in Valencia (Spain) focused in researching, manufacturing and delivering innovative mattresses and other sleep products and servicies to big retailers in Spain, France, Portugal and Germany. Competitive factors are Innovation, Comfort and Health. Currently our mattresses include our clients' company labels (we are white label manufacturers).
In the URBANREC project, Delax is involved in 2 main activities:

Developing an innovative rebounding process to reuse end-of-use polyurethane (PUR) mattresses as a high quality material to get a new ECOFOAM to manufacture new mattresses again.
Developing a mattress demonstrator whose components are 95% recycled from bulky waste (transformed by 6 project partners) and delivering the prototype to RTDs and Market testers in order to get the potential impact of an almost ready to market product developed inside the project.
