Do you have your seat for the URBANREC final conference?

6 November 2019 | Brussels

The places for the Circular Economy in Cities: URBANREC final conference are filling up quickly. Make sure you join us on 6 November 2019 in Brussels and register now. After 15 October, it will be too late!

Taking bulky waste management as a starting point, the conference will tackle not only technical, but also policy and legal aspects related to plastics, textile, and reuse, feeding the discussion for further progress toward a circular economy.

What to expect from the conference?

The day is divided into two parts. The morning session is dedicated to policy dialogue, hosted at the European Parliament, with the kind participation of the Greek MEP Ms Maria Spyraki. In the afternoon, in parallel to a permanent exhibition showcasing the technical results of the project, partners will explain their achievements.

A practical session for local and regional authorities

To share good practices and help local and regional authorities improve their waste management strategies, ACR+ will animate a working group session on 7 November 2019. Building on the conclusions from the previous day, three parallel sessions will address the development and implementation of a step-by-step strategy about reuse, non-packaging plastics, and non-clothing textiles.

For more information, please visit the event page, share this with people who might be interested in joining, and of course do not forget to register yourself.
